Block paving is the perfect choice for many customers because it is a versatile paving solution, which combines high performance blocks with a stunning finish. A block paved driveway is long lasting but needs very little maintenance once it has been installed by our team. Block paving is ideal not just for driveways but for patios and pathways too. It can also be used to edge other driveway materials and looks particularly good with resinbound or tarmac driveways, ask a member of our team to show you some pictures of recently completed driveways in your area to see what results can be achieved.

Because of the flexibility of blocks, it is very easy to repair should you have a problem in the future. If a block or two become broken or chipped, we can easily discard of those blocks and simply replace them. If you have an oil spillage, again, we can replace those affected blocks instead of having to resurface the whole driveway.

Our prestigious block paved driveways are fully guaranteed.

At EliteDriveways, we are here to create a driveway to suit your requirements, whether it be a modern design or a traditional design.

There is a wide range of designs to choose from, allowing you to choose the right colour, size and pattern to suit your home.

We ensure that your block paved driveway will be long-lasting and durable.

This is done by:

  • Preparing the area correctly for the driveway to be laid, levelling the ground underneath, to begin with.

  • While doing so preparing the drive to have adequate drainage.

  • A sub-base is then laid and levelled.

  • After that the blocks can begin to be laid, starting with the kerbs and outer edges then working inwards.

  • Once the blocks have been laid jointing sand is spread across the top of the blocks and swept in between them.

  • A vibrating plate compactor is then used to compact the sand and finish the driveway.
